By accessing or using Soraa, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or 18 years if you intend to make payments), that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them.

If you are using Soraa on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

To access most features of Soraa, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
• Notify us immediately at legal@soraa.io of any unauthorised access to your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Platform or other users.

Your ownership: You retain full ownership of all content you create and publish on Soraa — including stories, manga chapters, artwork, and comments ("User Content").

Licence to Soraa: By publishing content on Soraa, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, distribute, and reproduce your content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where copies have already been distributed to readers.

Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to publish the content.
• Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Your content does not violate any applicable law or our content policies.

Prohibited content: You may not publish content that is illegal, defamatory, pornographic, hateful, harassing, or that promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from Soraa without our written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its related systems.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited communications through the Platform.
• Manipulate metrics such as views, likes, or follower counts through artificial means.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.

Coin purchases: Soraa uses a virtual in-app currency ("Coins") that can be purchased with real money and used to unlock premium content, tip creators, or subscribe to creator plans. All payments are processed securely by Cashfree Payments.

Pricing: All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes. Prices may change at any time.

Non-refundable: All Coin purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Coins have no monetary value outside the Platform and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Expiry: Coins do not expire as long as your account remains active in good standing.

Failed payments: If a payment fails, no Coins will be credited. Please check your payment method and try again. Contact us at legal@soraa.io if you were charged but did not receive Coins.

Eligibility: Any registered user may apply to become a Creator on Soraa. We reserve the right to approve or reject Creator applications at our discretion.

Revenue share: Creators keep 85% of all revenue generated from their content (subscriptions, Coin tips, and unlocks). Soraa retains a 15% platform fee to cover payment processing, hosting, and operational costs.

Payouts: Earnings are paid out via bank transfer once a minimum threshold is reached. Creators are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on their earnings. Soraa will provide transaction records upon request.

Content standards: Creators must ensure all published content meets our content guidelines. We may remove content or suspend Creator accounts for violations without notice, which may result in forfeiture of pending earnings.

Soraa's IP: All trademarks, logos, software, and platform design are owned by or licensed to Soraa. You may not use our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

DMCA / Copyright: We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you believe your copyright has been infringed, please send a notice to legal@soraa.io with sufficient detail to identify the infringing content, your contact information, and a statement of good faith belief. We will respond promptly.

Soraa integrates with third-party services including Cashfree Payments (payment processing), Supabase (data storage), Vercel (hosting), Google AdSense (advertising), and others. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Soraa is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Soraa does not endorse or take responsibility for any User Content published on the Platform. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or quality of any User Content.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Soraa and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Soraa in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at legal@soraa.io. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Unused Coins are forfeited upon account termination for cause. Sections 3, 7, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, those laws may provide you with additional rights that these Terms do not limit.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform or sending an email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
